Gene and Cell Therapies Symposium

Thanks to new advances in genome engineering technologies, the gene therapy field is currently undergoing unprecedented and highly dynamic development, promising to cure patients with life-threatening or incurable conditions.

By correcting the underlying genetic causes, gene therapy is poised to bring about major breakthroughs in the treatment of many diseases for which only symptomatic treatment currently exists.

At this first international HMZ Symposium on Gene and Cell Therapy, research and clinical leaders in the field from Europe and HMZ will aim to provide an overview of new concepts, therapeutic interventions and future developments.
